Rockville, Md. -- HomeCall Hospice Services, Inc. (HomeCall Hospice), a subsidiary of Mid Atlantic Medical Services, Inc. (MAMSI, one of the mid-Atlantic regions largest managed care companies), recently received JCAHO Accreditation and Medicare certification for its operations in Maryland and Virginia. HomeCall Hospice received Medicare certification for its operations in Maryland earlier this year.
JCAHO reviews health care facilities and assesses their quality of care. JCAHO Accreditation symbolizes HomeCall Hospices commitment to quality health care services.
With Medicare certification, HomeCall Hospice can provide affordable, high quality home-based hospice services to the public at large, the commercially insured as well as Medicare beneficiaries.
